A Blooming Marvelous
Festival of Delights!
Have you ever imagined a secret magical
garden full of hidden treasures? Where you wished you could stay
forever?
Well, take that image and enlarge it. Then
scatter in some world class music and arts, transplant it to one
of the prettiest places in the Yorkshire Dales and you’re
starting to get a picture of what lies in store as Grassington
Festival provides a bouquet of delights in the summer of 2011.
The programme comes into flower on Friday
17th June with a carnival parade - announcing the arrival of a
colourful fortnight of music, theatre, comedy, film and visual
arts.
And that’s just the beginning of a programme
packed with famous faces, budding stars and lots of surprises.
And the best thing about it is...the garden
gates are open to everyone!
