Originally built in the 17th century the house has its
own peaceful setting with a large and lovely garden, though
it is only one minutes walk away from all the amenities of
the village - cafe's, shop's, pub's, restaurants and a
gallery. Scar Lodge offers two very comfortable double
bedrooms, both attractively furnished with views over the
hills and the garden. One has en-suite facilities. The other
has the sole use of a private bathroom. On the first floor
there is a quiet 'comfy' sitting /reading area with a
hospitality tray. A TV lounge is on the ground floor.
A full English breakfast using local fare / produce is
served in the dining room overlooking the garden. Vegetarian
option (by request).
